Wow that was a long podcast. I sort of drifted into a semi-coma during the Dante's Inferno bit. Probably would help if I had played the game, but haven't yet.
Dave was spot on with the RE5 comments.
I played the demo and immediately concluded I'd not buy that game. I kept getting invites for to play co-op on the demo, though, and like the 4th or 5th time, I got used to it enough to buy it. Truth is, it's hard to find good co-op games, so the decision was partially desperation.
Turns out, after playing through the game, the control scheme seems so completely natural, I have a hard time understanding why I had a problem with it in the first place. Weird.
